We chose Mel to be our photographer after falling in love with her work on social media. Mel was always happy to answer questions and discuss ideas. We found her to be incredibly warm, calm, patient and understanding. She has a beautiful way about her that helps your family to feel completely comfortable. With Mel we felt like old friends catching up, which helped us feel a lot more comfortable in front of the camera. I’m normally very self-conscious however with Mel’s extensive client wardrobe we were able to find something that helped me feel beautiful. We have had Mel photograph our family for two newborn shoots and one maternity shoot, and each time she went over and above what we could have ever dreamed of. Baby Marlee

I first saw Mel’s work before I was even pregnant. A friend from work had shown me her maternity and family photos with Mel and they were stunning so when it was my turn I asked for Mel’s contact details and booked her in straight away. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and helped me get out of my comfort zone which resulted in some beautiful photos that I will cherish forever. Since then Mel has done my maternity shoots for both pregnancies and newborn shoots for both babies. Mel has a way of making women really embrace their pregnant bodies and shows how beautiful and amazing pregnancy is and what the female body can do. I absolutely love my maternity and family photos from the beach shoot during my second pregnancy. Then of course the squishy little newborn photos are adorable and Mel has so much patience to make sure she captures that perfect shot.
Being able to choose from the client wardrobe full of gorgeous dresses and little newborn props and outfits is also a huge added bonus which removes the stress of trying to find something to wear.

.Being first time parents with a brand new baby, just leaving the house was daunting enough, let alone having to do a photo shoot. However, Mel made it such a gentle, supportive experience and we relaxed the second we entered her beautiful studio. She was so delicate with our daughter (very important for new parents!) and filled us with confidence so we could just enjoy the experience. We love our photos and will treasure them for many years. Baby Hudson

My wife & I took our first born child to Mel for his new born photos and she didn’t disappoint. From the moment we arrived, Mel was very welcoming and her experience shone through settling Hudson quickly when he was a little restless. The Walkers

We first found Mel after following her on Instagram and falling in love with her work back in 2016 prior to having our first little girl. Upon meeting Mel in 2017, just a week out from having our daughter, we instantly felt at ease with our choice. Mel was warm and inviting, I was a new found mother who had a unplanned hectic morning that hadn’t gone to plan and Mel instantly made us feel welcome, calm and at ease. She was patient and extremely helpful. Upon receiving our finished photos, we were so delighted. Mel not only takes fantastic photographs but she ensures they are finished and printed to the highest quality.
In 2020 we didn’t hesitate to rebook Mel for the birth of our second child, this time a boy. Mel’s photography style had changed and evolved but her attention to detail and care put into her work still stood strong.
We are now expecting our third child in 2022 and there is no one else we would trust with our precious newborn photos. We can’t wait to see the magic she creates. Thank you Mel.
