With over fourteen years of experience photographing and working with newborns, I am well accustomed to the nerves and anxiety that come with welcoming a new baby into the world. Your session will be relaxing with a natural organic feel. I want to capture the real connection and emotion which comes with gentle direction so you aren't left feeling awkward. If I'm not saying anything, it's because you're doing everything right!
This session includes individual images of your baby, as well as sibling, parent and family photos if you wish. Parent and sibling images are done in a more relaxed lifestyle way for this session.
My style is simplistic and natural, focusing on capturing the essence of your baby and all the details that make them so special. Their fuzzy shoulders to their tiny little toes. This session includes a range of relaxed, posed and macro detail images. I want these images to not only preserve what your newborn looks like but to remind you of what they felt like to hold in your arms. I love to capture the tenderness and connection between you and your baby. Forever bottling up that feeling of new love.
Newborn sessions typically take place in the first 1 - 2 weeks of life.
All sessions take place in my beautiful natural light studio in Morley, and can take anywhere for 1 hour up to 3 hours depending on how settled your baby is.
A session fee of $200 is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your session date. During your session, you will be able to sit back and enjoy the live viewing gallery of each and every photo taken on the day. With a mixture of both colour and black and white images. The beauty about this process is that you walk away knowing exactly how your photos turned out, I can assist if you Are overwhelmed, and I can get onto the editing process sooner.

Can siblings and parents be photographed?
Absolutely. In fact, often photographs including parents and/or siblings become my favourites. There is no additional charge for this.
Is there a client wardrobe for newborn sessions?
Yes, I supply everything you need for the newborn, besides nappies and milk. Plus there is a selection of dresses available to mum so she need only worry about hair and make-up.
What do I dress the rest of the family in?
I always recommend white or neutrals. I have a clean white studio, and the what clothing just works so well.
Are we able to just buy just digital images?
Yes. Once you have viewed your image gallery, you simply choose a digital collection to purchase; 10, 30 or 50 images. You also have the option to add beautiful print products if you wish.
How does payment work?
You will be required to pay your creative session fee of $200 at the time of booking. This confirms your booking and covers my time photographing your family. All products such as prints, frames, and digital images are purchased after viewing your gallery.
